From 27 July to 1 August 2026, Cetinje in Montenegro hosted a new edition of the Eastern European Machine Learning Summer School (EEML). The school brought together young researchers, students and professionals interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Over six days, participants attended lectures and keynote sessions by internationally recognised researchers, took part in hands-on tutorials, worked on projects and exchanged knowledge with colleagues from different countries.
We are glad that, as the Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology, we contributed to organising this year's school and directly supported young talent: we awarded three students a place at EEML.
