After almost seven months of intensive scientific work, we have brought our STUDENT RESEARCH PROJECT to a close. The introductory presentations hinted that very interesting results awaited us, and these were presented at the closing ceremony.

What we are particularly pleased to highlight is that this year the research was not carried out only online. Some of the students had the opportunity to get acquainted with field research, while others went on study visits to their mentors abroad.

At the very end we had an interesting discussion and concluded that the knowledge of students in BiH is on a par with that of their colleagues abroad, and that we often make the mistake of underestimating ourselves. However, the mindset of both students and mentors needs to change in order to encourage them to take part in research.

For most students and mentors this is not the end of their research. They plan to continue working and to present their results at conferences.

Congratulations to the mentors (Dr. Zlatan Ajanović, Mr. Selma Vejzagić, Dr. Kenan Šehić, Dr. Amel Duraković, Mr. James Creswell) and their students. Thank you for once again making us proud of the young scientists from our homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
