Event: From the First Microsecond after the Big Bang to the Large Hadron Collider
On Monday, 16 February 2026 at 19:00, we hosted a conversation with Prof. Admir Greljo at COSMOHUB in Sarajevo (Džemala Bijedića 162), titled “From the First Microsecond after the Big Bang to the Large Hadron Collider”.
Prof. Greljo, a theoretical physicist and university professor, spoke about current research in particle physics and cosmology: from understanding the earliest moments of the universe to interpreting data from CERN's Large Hadron Collider, the laws of nature at the smallest scales and the open questions beyond the Standard Model. We also talked about how much of a place artificial intelligence has in theoretical physics today.
The conversation was meant for university and secondary-school students, researchers and anyone interested, and entry was free.
