We invite interested students to apply for a two-day Hackathon organised by

, which will take place on 24 and 25 February 2024 in Sarajevo. The host and main sponsor is

. The theme of the Hackathon is: applying artificial intelligence to solve real challenges within the academic community.

Here are a few reasons to take part:

1. A chance to help develop the BH Academic Directory. You will tackle current problems related to the BH Academic Directory

, creating solutions that will improve efficiency, security and information management within the academic community using the latest technologies such as Large Language Models. Your ideas and innovations can help strengthen and better connect the BH academic community.

2. Free registration and cash prizes.

Taking part in the Hackathon is completely free, and the top three teams will win 2,500, 1,500 and 1,000 KM! This is a chance to show your skills, gain recognition and find extra motivation for further development.

3. Online lectures

You will be able to attend online lectures by BHAAAS members, including the lecture "Trustworthy AI" by Namik Hrle, IBM Fellow and Vice President of Development in IBM's Data and AI division.

4. Networking

You will meet fellow students, members of the academic community and industry experts, and have the chance to create unforgettable moments, build lasting connections and share experiences.
