Professor Emerita Branislava Peruničić-Draženović is the next STEM Youth Camp 2022 speaker we are introducing to you.
Her rich life experience is difficult to convey in a few sentences. She completed her primary education in Belgrade, secondary school in Kraljevo, undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Belgrade, and doctoral studies at the Institute of Control Sciences of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Moscow and at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo. In addition to the institutions mentioned, she built her rich academic career at universities in Mexico and the United States of America. Alongside her academic career, she took part in Energoinvest's development centres. She is a recipient of the City of Sarajevo plaque, the "Vratislav Bedjanič" award for the best doctoral thesis in the field of control in Yugoslavia, and others. She is a full member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a Fulbright visiting scholar of the US government. Her contribution to the science of sliding mode systems is indispensable when looking at the historical development of this field, which makes her one of the most cited researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
