Lecture by Prof. Stipan Jonjić at the Academy of Sciences and Arts of BiH

On Wednesday, 20 May 2026 at 12:00, Prof. Stipan Jonjić gave a lecture at the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina on building internationally competitive research centres and on modern immunotherapies.

We often hear that something “is not for our conditions”. Prof. Jonjić built an internationally competitive research centre and a biotech company with immunotherapies in clinical trials in exactly such conditions. In the lecture he spoke about the importance of research, international cooperation and connecting science with innovation and the development of new technologies.

The lecture was meant for students, researchers, the academic community and anyone interested in how science can change society beyond university classrooms and laboratories. We thank everyone who attended.
