Event: STEM Youth Camp 2025

This August, the 5th STEM Youth Camp was held in Sarajevo, organised by the Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology (ANNT). The camp brought together secondary school students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, who over five days had the opportunity to learn, explore and socialise through a rich programme of lectures, workshops and group activities.

🔹 We opened Day One with a formal ceremony and lectures on genetics and DevOps technologies.
🔹 Day Two was devoted to software engineering and artificial intelligence, and participants also discovered the cultural and natural beauty of Sarajevo.
🔹 Day Three featured hands-on STEM workshops, a panel discussion on university admissions and lectures on leadership and social entrepreneurship. The day ended with a fun knowledge quiz.
🔹 Day Four brought new knowledge in engineering uncertainty, medicine and astrophysics, along with inspiring stories from lecturers in academia and industry.
🔹 Throughout the camp, participants took part in team challenges, developed their skills and showed how science can be both fun and useful.

🌟 A particular value of the camp was the opportunity for young people to talk with experts from a variety of fields, from artificial intelligence and molecular biology to leadership, medicine and space science, and through this interaction to gain a clearer picture of their future careers.

🙌 We are proud of the energy, curiosity and enthusiasm the participants brought to the camp, and we are confident that they will be the drivers of innovation and scientific achievement in the years to come.

👉 STEM Youth Camp continues its mission next year – see you at the 2026 edition!
